veryone who uses a motorhome on the road is required to keep it in a roadworthy condition. The purpose of the MOT Test is to ensure that motor-homes, and other vehicles are checked at least once a year to see that they comply with key roadworthiness and environmental requirements. The MOT is a highly specialised examination of the majority of the safety-related components on a motor-home to ensure that they have not worn to such an excessive level so as to render the motorhome unsafe for the road. The test also includes a test on the motorhome exhuast emissions. The UK MOT entails 150 checks of safety-related and emissions systems.

The MOT test centre at THURCROFT TESTING STATION offers MOT testing 5 days a week, onsite in our own fully equipped, VOSA approved computerised and automated motor-home MOT testing station. All MOT tests are carried out by one of our fully qualified MOT testers. We can provide testing for nearly all makes and models of Class 4, 5 (light) & 7 vehicles, including Cars, Light Goods Vehicles, Stretched motor-homes, Motor Homes and Large American RVs. We operate MOT testing for all petrol, diesel, and catalyst motor -homes up to 40 ft in length.
