How we help local animals

We rehabilitate and re-home animals that are rescued from cruelty and neglect by our Inspectors.

We operate an Animal Centre on the Great North Road, a mile north of Bawtry. It costs on average £1500 a day to provide basic care for our animals. We receive no Government or lottery money. We have a Pet Store at the Centre where all profits go to caring for the rescue animals.

We depend on a team of dedicated volunteers to support our permanent staff. Volunteers donate different amounts of time and help across fundraising, charity shops, animal care, reception and maintenance.

We promote responsible pet ownership via neutering and microchipping campaigns.

We operate Charity Shops on the High Street, Rotherham, on Queen Mary's Road, Rossington, on Field Road, Thorne and in The Courtyard, Bawtry. Please support our shops. We welcome donations of clothes, bric a brac, small furniture and books/DVDs. If you get a few bags together, ring for a collection or drop off at the shops or the Animal Centre.

We also offer limited veterinary/financial assistance to help animals most in need in our branch area, if their owners are on benefits and are struggling to meet the whole cost of the treatment.
