Western Car Company Limited has been operating as one of Derby's leading Private Hire Companies for in excess of 30 years. We are currently licensed to operate 200+ Private Hire vehicles with two centrally located offices in the town centre.

We operate a 24 hour service 365 days of the year.

Over the last few years we have invested extensively in State of the Art technology in order to provide our customers with the best possible service. All of our vehicles are fitted with the latest fully computerised GPS & data controlled technology and we are able to offer our customers, both private and corporate, various methods of booking a vehicle: Automated Booking, Secure Real Time Internet Booking and of course Telephone & Fax Booking.

Our fleet of Private Hire vehicles are subject to stringent annual safety checks by Derby City Council and all drivers are CRB checked prior to a badge being issued, thus insuring the safety of the public. It is also Company policy that all vehicles are kept clean both inside and out. As a Company we hold both Public Liability Insurance and Primary Liability Insurance – our Insurance cover is comprehensive and covers all eventualities.
